About Domes
The first domes were used by the ancient Romans and have been found throughout the ancient Middle East. They have been constructed of a wide variety of materials, from stone to wood to metal. A copper dome is very elegant and eye catching. The copper architecture provides a stunning and classic look that integrates nicely with almost any style or type of roof.

Varieties of Dome
A true dome is hemispherical in shape, appearing like the top half of a ball. Many domes, however, use a more conical style. Domes work well along a roofline, on a gazebo or as a turret roof dome or on top of a tower. In addition, some domes feature a simple or ornate decorative plate, cupola or ball finial perched on top. We make and carry a beautiful handmade diamond shaped copper tile that is ideal for domes. We also have the capability to fabricate custom panels from copper or just about any other metal.
